HOW TO MEASURE:

  • Make sure you use a steel tape measure
  • Always take your measurements in millimeters (mm)
  • Always take the exact measurement, do not round them up
  • Always take the Width first, then the Drop

INSIDE MOUNT - The Blinds are to be installed on the inside of the window frame.

  • Measuring the Width: Get the first inner measurement at the top of the window, wall to wall of window frame (inner edge). Then get the second measurement at the middle of the window, wall to wall of window frame (inner edge) and third measurement at the bottom of the window, wall to wall of window frame (inner edge). This is to check if your window is square. Write down the shortest measurement as the width for this window.
  • Measuring the Drop: Get the first measurement at the right side of the window frame, top to bottom, inside of the frame. Then get the second inner measurement at the left side of the window, top to bottom, inside of the frame. Write down the shorter measurement as the drop for this window.

OUTSIDE MOUNT - The Blinds are to be installed outside the window frame (on the architrave).

  • Measuring the Width: Get the first measurement at the top of the window frame, edge to edge (outer edge of the architrave). Then get the second measurement at the middle of the window, edge to edge (outer edge of the architrave) and then third at the bottom of the window frame, edge to edge (outer edge of the architrave). This is to check if your window is square. Write down the shortest measurement as the width for this window.
  • Measuring the Drop: Get the first measurement at the right side of the window frame, edge to edge (outer edge of the architrave). Then get the second measurement at the left side of the window frame, edge to edge (outer edge of the architrave). Write down the shorter measurement as the drop for this window.

These are your hard measurements (meaning no deduction or allowance has been made). Do not make any deductions or allowances, the factory will make the correct deduction for you.

Check your measurements three times to avoid any errors before placing the order.

Blinds are an important aspect of interior design whether it is a house, office or an entertainment space. Vertical blinds are a practical solution to make your windows attractive. From Perth to Melbourne, we are the #1 store for blinds.

When using plantation shutters, electricity savings were estimated at half of the whole bill of heating expenses in winter months. Our timber blinds are high quality and durable, because each one was manufactured to endure the heat and cold. Decorate your window spaces with window blinds such as holland blinds, and make them more appealing.

During the snow season, heating is usually used by many households. Window blinds and plantation shutters provide some insulation to retain heat. The same purpose applies to hot weather when air conditioning can be the only way to escape from heat. Roller blinds are great in protecting the occupants of a building against heat in summer. Blinds such as roman blinds can shield room from the sun's rays. Make your windows lively with window blinds. Visit our catalog online for more choices!
